I am an RN and I seem to plow through the beaded lanyards…my last one snapped in two while in my patient’s room, spilling beads all over the floor. I bought this one to replace the many I have mangled. I have to admit, when I received it, it was much different than in the pictures. The lanyard I received is heavy and built to last. The brightly decorated ribbon is weaved between the links, adding durability with flair. The lanyard itself is stylish and shiny. I have no doubt this one will last a very long time. It is well worth the money!

Just bought my second VB chain lanyard after the one i’ve had for more than 5 years finally got retired (not broken, just grungy looking). This one, fulfilled by Amazon, is not quite the same as my original and I suspect is a factory second since “Vera Bradley” has been double stamped on the ring (see photo). While it isn’t a deal-breaker since this is such a great lanyard, its pretty disappointing since I just paid $40 for it as these are so hard to find now. I hope VB catches on that these lanyards are wonderful and starts making them again. I wore my previous one daily for years and never had any problems with it.
