Amazon sent the Samsonite Luggage Compact Folding Cart instead of the cart that is pictured. The difference is that the cheaper Compact cart has a plastic base, whereas this more expensive Luggage cart has a base of steel coated in plastic (I called Samsonite to verify). It’s a big difference and I am returning this cart in order to get one with a metal base. Customer service said they would look into this problem, since it has happened more than once.

I bought this for work, I have quite heavy bags and books etc to carry.
It looks too tiny to be useful, but it is very sturdy once folded out and wheels quite effectively for short distances. I have only used it a little so far, but confident enough that it will also be brilliant for when I go away and need to put carryon and handbag etc on it. I looked at others that were made with more metal, but this is better as it is lighter and probably just as sturdy.
Also it was packaged very neatly as well and folds up very tightly for storage – certainly for the price it is a good buy.
