Larger than asiana airlines carry-on tester, February 6, 2015

It is too larger than Asiana Airlines tester. but it fine korean Airlines.
Samsonite says this size is 21.5 x14.5 x8inch. Asiana airlines needs smaller than 21x15x8 inch with wheels

it really has 23.6 inch with wheel. and more than 8inch depth, without expension capacity.

So I find smaller than 19inch size spinner. It’s bad news :(

Perfect Travel Solution for Us, November 23, 2014

We had the large version of this suitcase, but it was too large. Oh, it worked fine in allowing us to pack everything two people needed for a trip of a couple weeks. But once you got all that in it, it was very heavy. Plus, because it was packed so deeply, we tended to use what was on top and forgot about what we had packed deeper. So, before traveling to Europe, we bought two of these smaller versions. That was perfect. Each was about half the capacity of the larger one. Each held about what one of us needed to pack for a couple weeks. Neither was too heavy, both roll easily standing straight up, which allows us to hook carry-ons over the extension handle to get to baggage check. Neither was packed so deeply that we lost things in them. In other words, this was the perfect solution for us. They are tough and durable, as you expect from Samsonite. The zippers appear to be sturdy enough to take some abuse and still work. And I especially like the handles on three sides, making it easy to place the packed suitcase on a bed or luggage rack.

Small pricetag, pretty cheap in general, April 20, 2015

This suitcase is… okay. I purchased this to use as a carry-on for an airline that does not have a free checked bag. This thing might withstand being put into overhead compartments, but I highly doubt it would last being checked. I used it once and the first time I unzipped an outside pocket, the zipper broke when I zipped it back up (nothing was in the pocket, it was fresh out of the box). I managed to get the zipper realigned but that doesn’t bode very well. The samsonite tag fell off at some point, so there’s two puncture holes where the tag was attached. Again, this was only being rolled through the airport and then put into the overhead and at that point it had only been on one flight. The handle twists when you roll it on all four wheels (and this bag was not even full) which tells me that the construction of the handle is not as good as some of the more expensive models. Overall, it seems pretty cheap for a samsonite bag, but the price was cheap for a samsonite bag, so I think you get what you pay for. With careful use and only using it as a carry-on, I think it could be worth the money, but for my part, I plan to return it and buy one of their better models which I know can withstand being tossed around by baggage handlers if the bag needs to be checked for any reason.
