Who knew I could get so excited over a lunch bag?!, June 23, 2015

I absolutely LOVE the neoprene zippered lunch bag that I just got from Art of Living! This bag is so pretty in person. The pictures really don’t do it justice! I’m shocked at how much I love this bag. I mean, who gets so excited over a lunch bag?!

Made of water resistant 4mm thick foamed neoprene, this lunch bag measures about 11″ x 11″ x 6″. It has double zig-zag stitching around all seams. The zipper is a high quality zipper that is appropriate based on the style of the bag. The pattern is a printed colorful diamond print on the outside and light green solid fabric on the inside. The binding is orange. It stays insulated for about 4 hours or so.

Since neoprene is water resistant, if something inside your lunch spills, you won’t need to worry of it soaking through to the outside or vice versa.

The Art of Lunch neoprene lunch bag is very easy to care for. To wash, it can be thrown in the wash or washed by hand. It is preferred to have it air dry. What’s also great about using neoprene for this is that you can gently twist the lunch bag to wring out excess liquid from washing (the fabric over the neoprene is water absorbant) and the bag doesn’t lose its shape. Turn it inside out in order to dry the inside first and then flip it right side in.

I was able to put quite a bit in this bag. Even when putting in entirely too much stuff, I could see the amount of elasticity and yet, it never lost its shape.

This truly is a great lunch bag that will likely last for years based on its lifetime guarantee. Very unique design.

I received this bag for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. This lunch bag was tested by me in my own home and is reviewed based on appearance, durability, and overall craftsmanship. All pictures included are of my own.

the size is fine. For myself, August 19, 2015

    Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
Summary: For elementary kids, the size is fine. For myself, I would go for a bigger bag. My 5 years old picked this bag because of the print. (Indeed, i am too in love of the print).

Size: It all depends on what you pack. For my kid, we need to fit a light recess snack, water bottle and lunch food jar. After all that, it is tight and no more space. (see the pic) Zip/Upzip motion require a little effort. I think it has to do with the sewing around the curve of the bag. (FYI – we got a BUILT bag for my old gal and the BUILD NY Spicy model do NOT have this issue. Zip/upzip was effortless.)

Smell: Some reviews commented on the smell, but not a noticeable issue for me nor my kid.

ISSUE: Our ‘new’ bag has water mold issue when it arrived. (See pic) Even my 5 years noticed it. :( I tried to wash it but it still has a mark. I will contact the seller for a replacement. Let’s hope there is no issue with that.
