The case is very stylish and functional, it compliments my Mac Book Air perfectly. I would recommend this bag to any minimilist with an ultra book or Mac Book Air.

This review is from: McKleinUSA MONTCLARE 15495 Black Leather Netbook Laptop Brief (Personal Computers)
I purchased this bag a few months ago and initially loved it. The leather is nice, the size was perfect and it was made to fit on a roll-aboard. It seemed perfect until the shoulder strap fell off a few weeks later. The hardware was faulty (the metal somehow broke) and there was no way to fix it. They sent me a new strap, which was great. I was back to loving the bag until a couple months later I’m standing in line at the airport and I hear some metal fall on the ground. At first I didn’t know where the sound came from, but then it hits me. Something else must have gone wrong with my bag. I start looking around on the ground and I see a metal zipper. I look down at my bag and one of the metal zippers has snapped off. Now, the way this bag keeps breaking, you’d think I must just abuse it. I can assure you that is not the case though. The leather looks brand new, and I had my previous laptop bag for 6 years without a single issue (in fact it still looks phenomenal, it was just bigger than I wanted).

Well, I contacted McKlein again about the zipper and they inform me that they can send me a new zipper head and that I can take it into a local repair shop for repairs (but that I have to pay for the repair since they aren’t repairing it in their own shop). Not happy about it, but whatever. I wait for the zippers, receive them a few days later and drive to a repair shop. Turns out they sent the wrong zipper heads! After hours of wasted time, I’m ready to give up on this bag.

My advice … get another bag. Something is clearly wrong with the hardware they are using. It is brittle and inevitably others are going to have similar issues, and while they may stand behind their “life-time warranty” by replacing broken parts, it just really isn’t worth the hassle.
