This bag is exactly as pictured, and as far as I can tell (I’ve used it for a few days now), it is extremely durable and well made. I would say that it is larger than imagined, but the dimensions are listed. I do wish they had a photo of a person holding the bag so you could have a good size comparison. Overall it was a great purchase.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I live in the city so I walk everywhere. This handbag fits comfortably every thing I need to carry. The strap is adjustable. There is an outside zipper compartment on the back of the handbag and two additional zippered compartments on the inside. There are also 3 pouches on the inside that provide room for cell phones, wallets, and glasses. The interior fits both my Kindle and my 13″ MacBook Air. The canvas exterior appears durable as does the adjustable leather strap. The interior is made of lightweight denim. My only complaint is that the strap is a tan color rather than the dark brown shown on the product page. I love this handbag, it is roomy, looks great, and appears durable. It is well worth the price.
Update 7-27-2015…have been carrying this purse for several months daily in the city. This purse has held up. It is durable. It still looks good. I am still pleased with my purchase. Money well spent.
