Buying clothing or accessories, online, can sometimes be a bit difficult. Because people can’t physically touch it, look at it, try it on, open it up, or accurately assess the color of something they see on their computer screen, many abstain from purchasing items such as these, online. Recognizing this fact, I thought the first thing I should do would be to give an accurate physical description of this product. So, here’s a list of descriptors of this(grey)bag:

    – The bag has two, padded, non-adjustable fabric carrying handles. There is no separate shoulder strap that is a feature on some bags.
    – The bag is padded over every surface with an extra layer of padding on the bottom and sides. It is partitioned into three sections.
    – The front section of the bag has a large zippered storage pocket which is also covered over by a velcro-attached flap.
    – Inside the front pocket are three pencil/pen holders, three small storage pockets, and the large pocket, itself.
_ The center section of the bag has a zipper closure. This largest compartment is intended for laptop computer storage, but also has a smaller storage pocket inside it that is sized for iPad storage.
    – The rear section of the bag has one small, zippered pocket that is sized for calculator or iPhone storage. There is also a larger pocket on the rear of the bag. This last pocket has no zipper, velcro or other means of sealed closure. It is always open.

Overall, it’s a pretty decent bag, and comes in at a decent entry price. Case Logic is a very popular brand of media and electronic cases of various design and function. I have owned several different Case Logic products over the years (and I would guess most households could say the same), including CD cases, camera cases, school supply cases, and laptop bags. I have never had any negative experiences with them.

If you need an inexpensive, well-designed, functional laptop bag more than you need a fashionable, less functional, expensive bag, this laptop case from Case Logic should be one you consider for purchasing.

This is a well-padded and conveniently designed lightweight laptop/tablet carrying case. If what you need is the lightest possible safe case to carry JUST your laptop and a tablet and a few ancilary items, this thing fills the bill nicely.

The shoulder straps are just the right length, the pockets are well-placed, and the two main pockets don’t interfere with each other.

BUT there is room for little else. That’s the tradeoff for the light weight.

Some days I need to carry the laptop and a whole lot of other stuff. Other days I value convenience more, and for those days this is the right item.

Know your needs and if your need is for a small, light case for your computing essentials, this is a fine choice. Otherwise not.

Don’t blame the gazelle for not being a rhino. If you need a rhino, buy a rhino.

This tablet tote came at the perfect time as I am flying for the holidays and needed something to hold my Macbook Pro 15″ laptop. At first glance this Case Logic brand bag seems to be a run of the mill generic laptop carrier. Upon further inspection I see that it is well designed. The center compartment would hold up to a 15″ laptop. On one wall of this center compartment is a soft felt lined pocket just the right size to slip your Ipad (or similar tablet). The other side of this center compartment houses a longer unlined pocket that would be good to hold file folders, etc. The outside of the bag features on large zippered pocket on one side with 3 separate compartments in that to hold chargers, cellphones, eyeglasses. This pocket also has the standard elastics to hold pens. The opposite outside pocket features a smaller (4×6) zippered pocket as well as a larger unzippered pocket. The bag is made of nylon with polyester linings.

It seems to be well constructed however with all the seams finished and no strings hanging anywhere. The zippers on this one all zip smoothly. The Max dimensions of a laptop and Ipad are as follows: Laptop-14.3×1.2×9.8″ Ipad-10.6×0.6×7.5″. This bag has a nice flat reinforced bottom so it will sit on the floor or table without falling over. The handles are reinforced at the top but they are only about 12″ long so if you put it on your shoulder you would wear it more like a woman’s handbag. I prefer a long strap that would allow me to put the bag crisscross over my shoulder.

The bag doesn’t seem very heavy even loaded up with my stuff. It is streamlined in design and not bulky. Overall I like this bag and recommend it. Hopefully after I carry it for a few months I will feel the same way.
