GREAT BALLS O’ DRYER!,
I am revising this review as of 10/29/15:
I am including a photo to show the difference in size between I-gruv balls and Sheep Soft balls. Sheep soft balls come in at 8-7/8 inches around with a soft measuring tape. I-gruv balls come in at slightly larger at about 9 to 9-1/8. I think the heavier larger balls seem to do a little bit better, especially for large loads.
The only thing I really didn’t like was that when I purchased these, they were $13.94. When I went to purchase them again under the “buy again” option 10 days later (to get some for my father in law), from the same vendor, the prices jacked up to $15.44. I hate when sellers do that. Makes a buyer feel like they are getting taken advantage of. So five stars for the product itself, but 3.5 stars to the seller.

Save energy in the dryer-especially with cloth diapering!,
I also cloth diaper two of my children currently, and they take forever to dry typically! I was hoping these dryer balls would reduce the dryer time significantly, but unfortunately they didn’t. They did help though! They certainly didn’t help the first time I used them, but I think it took them getting broken in. When I tried again with my diapers, it reduced the time from about 80 min to 60 minutes. So I’ll continue to use them and maybe it’ll keep on reducing the time, we’ll see. But even if it reduces it at all, it’s worth it to me.
More pros:
*I like that my clothes are getting stuck together or knotted as badly while these dryer balls are working to keep everything moving and rearranging.
*You can add essential oils to the balls to act like a scented dryer sheet, which I think is awesome.
*They’re not overly noisy when using them. They obviously have a sound bouncing around within the dryer, but it’s not obtrusive.
It took a couple of uses before the real benefits/time saving became apparent, so give it a couple of tries when you’re first starting out. If you’re looking for something to reduce time in the dryer, give these a try. I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 because the difference wasn’t as drastic as I’d thought they would be. I wish I could give them a 4.5.
I was fortunate to receive these at a discount in exchange for my honest opinions!
