This backpack is great, it has a spot for everything including a size 3 (regulation for 6 year olds) ball, her cleats, a water bottle, shin guards and her uniform. I even have enough room to put a hand pump with attachments in there and excess room to spare. On the back is a plastic nameplate to put a card in so you know whose is whose, and the straps adjust perfectly to her shoulders while giving her room to grow. This bag would most likely not work for most adults as the shoe pockets on the side will not be big enough for your cleats. Also I am certain a size 5 (adult regulation) ball will not fit easily into the ball compartment. However if you are looking for a bag for your kids to use during the soccer season, look no further, you have found it.

I purchased this for my 9 year old son. It holds his ball, indoor AND outdoor cleats, shinguards, extra jersey and some snacks. Great bag and great price.

This bag seems to be pretty well-made and -designed. Its outer shell is thick and seems strong and the zippers seem solid.
The small outside pockets on either side are convenient, of course, but they are a bit small. My 9.5 men’s firm ground boots can’t both fit in one pocket with the pocket zipped closed (so I just leave it open), which would be nice so that I could put just sweaty socks and shinguards in the other.
With a size 5 ball in the ball pocket (the opening of which could have been made a bit bigger to easily fit a ball through), there is little room in the main compartment. I just play recreationally now, so I usually carry an extra shirt, small ball pump and gauge, hand towel, tape, 32-ounce sport drink and wallet/phone/keys (which fit nicely in the small pocket behind the ball); that is pretty much a full load for the bag.
If the outside pockets and the main compartment were a bit bigger, I’d give the bag a 4-4.5 rating. The bag would be very good for a youth player.
