The pros: This bag is spacious, fully lined, and has pockets galore. The slick holographic exterior is very cool.
The con: We used this yesterday for the first time, and one of the skinny straps is tearing away already. It wasn’t even packed heavy: we took it to an amusement park with extra socks, a box of bandages, my wallet, and some pain killer. As the day went on, we added two water bottles and two palm-sized stuffed animals from arcades. Not a heavy load at all! AND the bag was sitting on the scooter I rented all day, so it was barely carried by the straps. I can’t fathom why or how it’s begun to rip already.
So I’ve settled on three stars, unfortunately, because despite being a really cool bag, if it’s falling apart under the gentle weight of socks and BandAids, what would it do with books and school supplies? I’m trying to think if maybe I jerked it funny when I picked it up or something, but even if I had, it shouldn’t rip that easily if it’s expected to be sturdy enough for the abuses of school kids.
