    Okay this is a cool item!
    I have opted to do a video on this product so I will keep the written part short. Overall there is not a whole bunch of negative going on here. I would gladly endorse this Hydration Pack and encourage you to get one if you are looking. Please enjoy my video as well.

    I received this product either at a discount or free in exchange for my unbiased review. So as I have promised the seller, here is my review consisting of what I love, and what I feel could be improved.

    **WHAT I LOVE**

    ==Size Matters==
    Okay 3 liters of liquid! What more is there to say? Most packs try to stay on the smaller side of things for portability and weight. However, I personally feel that more water is better. Many times when we are out in the wilds, potable water is not always around. I think it is best to take more with you from the get go.

    ==Fill Port==
    I forgot to cover this in my video. The fill port is huge. Here in Texas it is nice to wear one of these that also has ice in it. This helps keep your back cool and keep your core temperature down too.

    **WHAT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT**

    ==Add Velcro to Mouthpiece==
    I did cover this in the video. The mouthpiece does not have a place to be stored when not in use. Many packs that I have used in the past have a piece of velcro around the tube to the mouthpiece and the opposite side of the velcro is on the shoulder strap. That way when you’re walking, the tube doesn’t flop around. Honesty that is the worst thing I can come up with for this Hydration Pack…

    OVERALL THOUGHTS
    – This hydration backpack comes with many pockets that give you plenty of space to keep your essential items like keys, wallets, phone, towels, tools, and snacks. I can see this being used for hiking, cycling, camping and climbing walks. This has a pull open/push closed mouth piece, which opens the valve when you want a drink, and closes the valve so there is no leaking. Would make a nice gift for the outdoors man/woman.

    I received this product at no cost for my honest and unbiased opinions. I am not an Amazon employee or affiliate. I am a real Amazon shopper who also has Amazon subscriptions come every month, and who buys many things for full price, some for discounted ones and I rate everything the same way – based on quality, value, personal experience, and preference. My reviews are completely based on my personal experiences with the product; Others opinions may differ due to their own experiences. I stand by my review and do not give discounted products great reviews if they do not deserve them. Thank you for reading my review!

    Large volume hydration pack for hiking, running, camping., June 16, 2016

    I run a lot, and it gets hot here in the summer, so a hydration pack is always useful. I really wanted to review this Tactical 3L hydration pack to see how well it works. {I received this product at a promotional price in exchange for my honest/unbiased opinion. I’m not affiliated with either the manufacturer or the seller of this product, and all comments are based upon my own personal experience with the item. Hopefully my review has helped you make a more informed purchasing decision.}

    The pack itself is sturdy nylon and seems well-made. There are broad padded straps for your shoulders, plus a waist and chest strap to keep the bag from bouncing around as you run or hike. The straps can be adjusted slightly – I’m very tall and it works for me, but not sure how it would work on a shorter person. There is also an outside pocket on the pack that can hold keys, phone, wallet, etc. which is useful if your running clothes don’t have pockets.

    Inside the pack is a green plastic/rubber 3L (64oz) bladder to hold water. There is a large screw-cap for the fill-hole. The bladder has an insulated hose with a mouthpiece attached to the other end of it. I found the hose and mouthpiece a bit confusing, since it says “twist” and instead you actually have to pull it open. There are NO user instructions on placement or how-to included, which is a definite negative in my view. There’s also no information included on a website URL to visit for more information (also a negative).

    The bladder for the water has a strong plastic -y smell and your water will taste bad if you don’t rinse it out with hot water a few times before using.
    The mouthpiece didn’t work at first — I finally figured out you have to bite down HARD to get the water to come out. That would have been nice to know up front (like – included in some user instructions, possibly??). The cap for the bladder does screw on very tightly and no water leaked in my use-tests.
    Overall it’s a decent pack so I’m giving it four stars. It holds a good amount of water, which is important in hot weather, and it works.I would recommend this hydration pack for hikers, campers and runners with the caveat that you may need to fiddle around with it for a while to really figure out how to use it.
