I got these for a trip. first time flying with my gf. I didn’t necessarily have to use a luggage tag since we only used carry on bags. Anyways, they didn’t work for me. I lost one somewhere between unloading from the car and passing through security before i got onto the plane. The Rubber band snapped off of the plastic tag holder. the second one actually held till the day we got back from our trip, the only problem with that one was the band was covered in debris, and looked as if it was ready to snap. The quality of the rubber band is very bad. However, the quality of the actual holder is pretty good.

I wanted a good luggage tag solution which hid my personal details, and this was it. It looks very sharp and the size is compact.

The drawbacks: the writing areas are small, you have to write on both sides of the tag as information is split up.

The HUGE drawback, the grey cord to attached it, is not sturdy — it SNAPS off if snagged as it’s stretchable and thin plastic — so Carnival Cruise Lines lost one through their careless handling of my bag.

I can get over the size, because I wanted the compact look, but the attachment cord coming off like that was too much.

My husband and I purchased these for our trip to the Caribbean. We needed luggage tags and thought that the clip cover bit would let us keep some privacy on our luggage when it went through customs, cruise line staff, and airport baggage claim.

    Pros:
    – They are solid construction and I didn’t feel like they would fall off the bag.
    – Solid plastic instead of a flimsy stitched clear cover.
    – The open and close snap for the tags withheld a beating.

    Cons:
    – The “protect sensitive information” bit — not really doing much. The sticker on the inside to write your information had a line for your name and another for an email. Both are usually relatively public. No place for an address or phone number.
    – The sticker placement was horrendous on our tags. Crooked and some of the ink had smeared.

4 stars simply because they were more expensive then other tags that do similar things. The cons were annoying, but come on, they are luggage tags. They don’t need to look pretty/
