This review is from: Samsonite Luggage Mvs Spinner Backpack (Accessory)
Use: I will be using this as a home to work bag. I walk some, take the bus and the metro.

Required features: Spinner, room for laptop, books, lunch, iPad, knitting and if necessary enough clothes for a weekend. Comfortable handle or backpack/messenger options.

Pros: It rolls wonderfully and fits through different size aisles. I’m not sure about a 17″ PC by my 14 x 9.5 work laptop fits fine. The zippers are sturdy and there are enough compartments for all my needs and more. If a laptop doesn’t fit in the designed sleeve, there is plenty of room in the main compartment for the laptop and more. The bag is not heavy and has a nice multiple height handle. One person thought the handle felt like it would break easily, but I have had others that were shakier that lasted years. The warranty is definitely a plus along with the sale price!

Cons: It is taller than I like and friends who travel more than I do said it would probably not fit under a seat but would be fine in the overhead compartment. I would have liked larger wheels to help in rolling over more surfaces such as some carpets and unpaved walk ways.

I looked at all the other PC bags with the spinner feature and they are based on the traditional computer/folder/office design. This was more than I needed. This was the only spinner backpack I could find. I just want to carry my computer without pulling my shoulder out of joint. I want to be able to reach in without having to open the compartment completely too.
I like not having to open the whole thing to get to my laptop and feel it is well protected from bumps and gouges.

I always wanted a spinner, but I wanted a backpack version. Here it is. Larger bags lose the value of spinning it, going down tight aisles on a plane. Alas, so does this one!

Warning! Put things in this back and it expands like a snake with a large animal it it’s gut. If they had just added compression straps inside or outside. Get this bag a belt to tighten its waist! And what a waste. It gets so fat it loses all the advantages of spinning it. And makes it difficult to keep things packed well. I have things come out jumbled, as though shaken in a blender, unlike any other bag I have had. Buy again? Never for me. It could have been so good, but in the end clearly those who designed it never meaningfully used it. A sad waste of money. Good but for what is bad. Rolls well. I love the way it moves (well, except that plumpness means it loses some balance and then is not so great), fully upright, not leaned. Too good to toss out, too bad to use often in the very uses I purchased it for. Avoid.
