We recently went on an overseas trip to the Middle East and I wanted a nondescript luggage tag for my checked bag. This luggage tag got the job done – it stayed connected to my bag and I like the fact that you can snap it closed so your personal information is not exposed. However, other luggage tags I have are stiffer and seem to be of higher quality; I didn’t use them because they were a popular brand that is obviously recognized by the designs and colors they use, and the name tag is exposed. However, next time I will opt for a tag that is stiffer and higher quality and follow a hint I learned on a travel site – write your personal information on one side and write “Turn Over” on the other, placing the “turn over” side on the top. That way, if an airline rep needs to identify the owner of the luggage, they can pull the card out to read your personal information on the back side but no one else can see it while your luggage is handled. I will make a different selection next time I purchase a luggage tag.

Nice quality leather tags. Looks to be secure with the attaching strap going through the securing strap. The real test comes when I turn my luggage over to the baggage handlers.
