Cute, but flawed, June 15, 2012

There are several things about this bag that I really love:

    1. It’s spacious. Fits my laptop, iPad, chargers, wallet, and do-dads without being bulky.
    2. It has a back pocket so you can attach it easily and safely to your carry on luggage.
    3. It’s adorable. The styling is really cute and makes for a nice ladies messenger without being too frou frou.

After a month of use, here are the things I feel need improvement:

    1. The front flap only has a Velcro closure. When you have things in the front pockets or if it’s heavy, the Velcro easily comes undone. If the bag fell over, all of your stuff would spill out. It would be nice to have a buckle for security.
    2. The buckle on the strap is uncomfortable and digs in. Could use padding.
    3. The strap itself gets easily twisted and is difficult to un-twist. I gave up on mine after two weeks.

In all, it serves its purpose and it’s cute. But it still needs a few tweaks to be really good.
    3.

Let me start this off by saying, I rarely write reviews. Despite some of the reviews about the Velcro flap, and the non-padded shoulder strap, I wanted to give this bag a shot. It was cute, & the size was exactly what I was looking for. This bag has exceeded my expectations. It arrived 3 days early, which was great. The online pictures did not do this bag any justice. It’s cute, classy, & functional. In the main compartment it holds, my MacBook Pro, a case for my glasses, & a one inch binder filled with paper, dividers, pens, pencils, and a calculator. In the zippered pocket in front of that, I have lotion, breath mints, Tylenol, and other random things. In the netting in front of that I have hand sanitizer pens, etc. when you fold the flap over to close the bag it is secured by what seems to be pretty durable closures. On the front of the flap are two zippered pockets in which I have placed my wristlet. It fits perfectly and zips up. I left it sticking out slightly in the pictures only for size reference. But wait, there’s more!!…. Lol. On the back side is a pocket for what it said was a tablet. I was able to fit my nursing gear. The back picture is a view of all of the things on the floor inside the bag. I haven’t had this bag long so I can’t attest to its durability, but can update my review later if it suddenly falls apart… I highly doubt it will. The material appears to be pretty sturdy. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase.
