I bought this for my brand new RX100 IV – even though it is not listed as being suited. The dimensions were near enough to take a chance and I am glad I did. The case fits perfectly. I like it because it protects the camera when it is in my backpack or other bag and I can have the camera out and ready to shoot in a second. The bag then can be shoved into a jacket or cargo pocket or clipped on with the included carabiner. The case is not waterproof, its intent is to protect from small shocks and it does that to a T. I would buy it again, and would recommend to friends and family.

I have a Sony RX100 IV and needed a case for it. This case works perfectly with the camera, even after I installed a OP/TECH neck strap (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018MR5HK) to the camera. In fact, they are a perfect match. It is true the case is a little tight, but only in the beginning. I have had this case for 2 months now. It stretches out over time. You can also use your hands to pre-stretch it for your camera first to make it easier to put it in or take it out. I also installed a metal grip to the camera and it still fits in this case. I love it! Great little case and it provides great protection when you put the camera in your bag or when you hang your camera on your neck while you are out and about. Good stuff.
