this is a really beautiful bag and is exactly as pictured. it even has metal feet on the bottom, so the bottom of the bag won’t get dirty when you place it on the ground. but i was looking for a laptop bag, and functionally this bag is not quite what i was looking for. first of all, there is no secure compartment inside for your laptop or any real padding, so a separate laptop sleeve is probably needed to provide protection, and even then, my 13″ macbook pro would be shifting around loose in there. there is a zipper pocket they say can be used for a tablet, but it doesn’t seem like the canvas interior will really hold up to the weight of that for very long. functionally, it’d be great as a briefcase or if you carry a lot of other files and books along with your laptop, or even as a small carry on bag with other items in it. it was just too big for my needs and i’d like more padding in there for my laptop. will sadly be returning it.

Item arrived in good condition and in a timely manner. The bag contained care instructions and tips to extend the life of the bag. I am very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship.
