Purchased this for my newly purchased Windows Tablet with keyboard. Love the color and tablet fits in perfectly! Inside is very plush and soft! Better quality than I had anticipated!

Bought 8 of these for the tablets I got for my sales team. I’d buy them again in a heartbeat. Stitching on the neoprene is what you see on wetsuits. Very tight and clean. It has more than enough options for storing chargers, adapters, or a mouse. The guys like that there is an option to sling it or use the carry handles which easily store into the bag. Great price, great option.

This review is specifically for the Evecase 12.5 ~ 13.3 inch Laptop Case.
****MANY REVIEWS ARE NOT SPECIFIC TO SIZE – The vast majority of the reviews for this item are for bags of different size and purpose ranging from 8.9-9.7″, 10.6 – 11.6″, 12.5 – 13.3″, 14″, 15 – 15.6″ and 17 – 17.3″. Just because a review is positive or negative, it may not apply to the actual item you seek to purchase.****
I originally purchased this bag for my 2015 12″ Microsoft Surface Pro based on 1) the positive reviews 2) the price seemed reasonable especially since it is listed as an Amazon Prime item. I mean, if I didn’t like it, I could always return it, right?++
Unfortunately, the bag is bulky and heavy considering it’s purpose is to house a 12″ tablet that weights 1.76lbs. While the bag appears to be well made, it lacks long-term utility for the following reasons.
– The bag weighs ~1.1 lbs when it’s empty, give or take an ounce for scale calibration errors – although I did use an electronic Pitney Bowes mail meter scale. (not mentioned in description); – It says it fits in a backpack for added protection, but it’s 2 inches thick when it’s empty (not the .75 inches represented in the description). [I set a stapler on top of the empty bag to prove that I was not measuring air.] – 3 front pockets only have a 3 inch opening with a 1 inch allowance at its widest point. These pockets can only be used for a smallish/flat items such as an iPhone 4, 5 or 6 (not Plus, no Android phones), Pens/Stylus or earbuds/cables…however, do NOT put anything too small such as keys or a power adapters because you can’t fit your hands in to fish out items that fall to the bottom unless to turn the bag upside-down and let the items fall out. (I have long skinny fingers and skinny Asian woman hands and I could only get my fingers half-way in.) – 2 Side-panel pockets have limited openings. You can fit a decent amount of medium to small sized items into the side-panel pockets and both have velcro closures for security. However, each opening is only 6 inches, which limits WHAT you may place in the pocket panels and because the 3-front pockets are so small, you will find yourself using these as a place to dump everything. – Main compartment will fit a laptop/tablet up to 13.3 inches, a composition book, and not much more. Don’t expect to fit much into this case. A letter-sized file folder will not fit.
PRO: This case is probably fine for those who don’t care about weight and only need to carry one phone, a flat mouse, one phone charger, a small laptop/tablet charger, a slim wallet or billfold, earbuds, a few pens, a small notepad, ultra slim external drive, a tablet/netbook and doesn’t mind that almost all of that will be stuffed into one spot and the case will be bulky.
CONS: If you are thinking of putting this into a backpack or carryall bag, it is because you don’t have much else in said backpack or carryall bag. This case will NOT replace your briefcase, backpack or purse; this is something to carry around in addition to a backpack, briefcase and/or purse and it will add considerable weight to your carry capacity.
In summary, based on all of the above, if you’re thinking you could buy this so you could carry less stuff, forget it. Once the novelty wears off, you’ll be back on Amazon looking for something more convenient.
++BUYER BEWARE: As of October 8, 2015, this item’s description said nothing about he weight nor the return policy. However, if you buy it and attempt to return it you will be informed, “[a]s per the return policy shipping fee is not refundable.” What they actually mean is that the buyer must pay for return-shipping. The return-shipping using USPS Priority Mail in a Medium Flat Rate box will cost you $12.65.
