I am a marine electrician and have been using the tool backpacks since they’ve come out. The idea is great and there’s room for most of my everyday hand tools but if I there was one thing I would change it would have to be the way the zippers and surrounding fabric is made. Over time once the bag breaks in the seems sag terribly and it puts so much strain on the zippers that they eventually begin to slip and seperate until you can’t close them at all. Every one of my collegues owns one and will tell you the same thing. Once the zippers start missing, these backpacks are no longer dependable because you’ll soon find tools missing that have fallen out. I understand this is good for CLC and Tool Pak because they’ll sell more bags but when the inside of the bag still looks brand new I shouldn’t be forced to repair or replace it due to a poor design on one very important part of the product. I’d love to see a better design in the future.

I’m an Audio/ Video Installer. I install flat screen TVs, home theaters etc. I use this bag on more simple installations. It carries pretty much everything I need to do basic installations. I call it my slealth tool kit bag because it looks like a regular backpack. It does not draw attention like a regular tool bag.

Its designed for small tools, it has many compartments and if you’re savvy you can be very creative in your storage of tools. If you have large tools get an additional tool box.

I encourage you to look at my photos(I posted on this site). I used a grey sharpie to label most of the compartments. This is a huge help for identifying closed compartments and it also helps when putting things back in their specific place.

I love this bag. It is one of many tool bags I own. I also use a veto pro pac LC for more complex installations.
All in all I think this is an awesome bag. I shopped for a long time to find something like this. I have not found a better back back that has this many compartments. I use it every other day. The zippers are holding up and the little plastic organizer is very useful too.

    5 STARs!

    I highly recommend it!
