I swim 1 mile per day in a 25 meter pool (72 lengths) and wanted to up my work out. These are great, they push you to a whole new level. Fast is an understatement, literally cut my lap times in half. If you use these hard get ready for a work out but WOW what a blast. Just love these, they are awesome. You will literally feel like you are flying across the pool, while feeling the burn, super fun. My wife wants a pair now too, we are going to get scuba diving certified soon, so this is real fun practice. Can not say how great these fins are. Now you should note that I am 5′ 11″ and these fins go from floor to my waist so that are not small. You way get some looks but once people see you rocket across the pool they are all interested in them.

My experience these are great for the day to day work out and will be amazing for scuba or free diving (which I want to learn).
You cannot go wrong with these fins. Also the bag I received was was real high quality and fit them perfectly just choose the grey ones with bag option. My bag looks just like the one shown.

So in conclusion if you swim, scuba or free dive anything….these ROCK!!!!!! :)

Just to clarify, I received the Mares bag and not a Cressi bag. It seems to be very well made thick material and a padded wide strap.

UPDATE: Someone asked how long these are. From Heel to end of the fins they are just shy of 3 feet. These are not small, but boy are they fun. Trust me they put regular fins to shame. But be prepared to be in or get in shape. These bad boys are really going to push your muscles and did I mention they are AWESOME and SUPER FUN!

    :)

This review is from: Cressi Gara 3000 LD Fins, Grey
This fin is the real deal inexpensive but highy quality for long distance fin, i have my pro star fin used for my free diving it works fine but you have to kick more to have the fast profulsion, but Gara LD is effortless normal kick (means less oxygen consumtion) it has the ability to speed your profulsion, Gara300LD will bring you to depth you desire.

these fins are perfect, i use them for both scuba and free diving, comes with a very nice bag, though it is not the one pictured. However, a word of caution, these fins are very large in size and (especially for scuba) require a substantial propulsive force, so strong ankles and legs are a must. (i am a very short man with some leg strength and these propel me like crazy, so don’t be discouraged by height)
