I’ve been using these bags now for several weeks. I like them very much, but the paper straps break off way too easily. Fortunately for me, I don’t need them to function for the purpose I use these bags (recycling news papers.) This is why they only get 4 stars instead of 5.

These bags appear very sturdy to the eye. Yet on 90 percent of this batch of bags I received, the side seam came undone…due to what looks like a very sparse amount of glue applied to the paper. I had to re-glue each and every one of them. I was willing to let that slide until… just now I lifted up one of these bags that I had just yesterday put to use for recycling, to see if I had accidentally recycled something. Yes you guessed it the bottom simply came undone and everything fell out.What a mess…thank goodness it was just yesterday I started using it. Side seam was fine!LOL There had been no spills that might have loosened the glue or softened the paper (as I initially thought) it just came unglued. Upon further inspection, it seems there is a severe lack of glue on the bottoms too-try 2 half-a-dime size spots. I will not buy these bags ever again. Hence no stars..if the system will allow that. Hope this helps.

I purchased these bags. The best thing I can say is that they arrived in a timely fashion. I opened the first bag and it split down the side. The second bag I opened had a hole in the bottom. The flap was not glued. The third bag split down the side. I had to use these for my customers over the weekend and there was not one that could hold a sweatshirt without a tear somewhere in the bag.
