Extraordinarily functional. I needed luggage to accommodate all my gadgets, including a 13″ Mac Book Pro, iPad, iPhone and all the associated charges, cables and accessories.

This fits the bill very nicely.

I would have provided 5 stars, except for a couple of minor issues:

First, I would prefer that the fittings that attach the device to the shoulder straps would be on top of the unit. They are down a couple of inches, which results in the case tilting at a somewhat odd angle when it’s carried using the shoulder strap.

Second, it’s kind of expensive. I was happy to pay extra for a device that works for me, but I would have provided a five-star rating if the price were in the range of $50 rather than $80+ dollars.

Third, there are little covers for the zipper pulls. One of them came off (and was lost) after the first use. (Although this doesn’t affect the functionality one bit.)

The plus is the folder that provides the ability to mount all those cables and accessories using elasticized storage. I was able to squeeze in all my associated gadgets, including patch cords, chargers, and even a Bose headphone set.

I rarely write reviews unless the product makes a major difference–this one has.
The two padded pockets are perfectly sized for my 13″ MacBook Pro and iPad 3.
Once I figured out what accessories I wanted to keep in my bag, the grid-it system organized them wonderfully.
It took me a while to figure out what to use the random elastic strap for. I ended up using it to tie my charger extender, which fits perfectly in the small front pocket.

The bag has a nice texture which is hard to see from the pictures. I did have one thread start to come loose on top, but once I cut it, no other issues.

I definitely recommend buying this bag, and will be looking for other solutions for myself from Coccoon Inovations.

First, I will state that this was not my first choice for a case for my MacBook Pro. However, the other case was out of stock, so I purchased this as a second choice. I bought it last September; so far, three of the wooden toggles have slipped off, one within the first month of (limited) use. The Grid-It system isn’t that convenient, for any type of item larger than a flash drive tends to block out others, and using it to store the charging cord doesn’t work that well for me. The small pocket on the front is…well, small.
The strap connects on the back, and inevitably if I have a sweater on (or anything with a mesh texture), it snags. So far, it’s ruined a couple of nice sweaters.
On the positive side, it does hold the MacBook securely, and the padding seems to protect well. I like the gray color and the texture of the case itself seems to wear well.
If I had it to do over, though, I would wait on the other case.
