This review is from: Case Logic TBC-304 Compact Camcorder/High Zoom Camera Case (Black) (Electronics)
Case Logic makes good cases and this one is no exception. The case is attractive, good zippers and sewing, and a nice strap. The camera storage portion opens at the top so if carrying the case with the strap on your shoulder the camera cannot fall out.
More important, the case holds my camera, Canon A620, very nicely. It is bigger than needed for the wafer-thin, pocket-size compacts, but for larger compacts like mine it is a good size. Inside the top to the camera compartment is zipped compartment sized for SD cards. If your SD cards are in the small box about same size as the card, this compartment holds 2, with the larger case only 1. On the front of the camera case is a zippered compartment where you can put extra batteries, a cleaning cloth and things of that nature. Alternatively, you can put batteries at the bottom of the case and still have plenty of room for the camera if you want to use the outside compartment for something else. I have one of those small plastic battery boxes that holds 4 AA batteries and it can lie flat on the bottom of the case with my camera on top should I want to do that.
The case does not have a strap for attachment to your belt, which I knew when I ordered the case, however, I am confident that a nearby luggage and shoe repair shop can easily sew the necessary strap to the back of the case if I decide I want this.
The rings and swivel hooks for attaching the strap seem to be good quality and securely attached. The strap can be adjusted to the desired length.
The Amazon description of the camera states that it will fit “full size (big zoom) cameras”. This is not accurate. Before getting my SLR (the case is for the Canon A620, camera I carry when I don’t want to take the bigger camera) I had a Canon SX10IS, a big zoom. I would not have considered this case for it. My A620 is good size as compacts go and it fits fine, but for a big zoom a larger case is desirable.
